Student Wins Photography Contest

La Roche’s International Admissions office and the Redhawk Post have announced the winner of the Winter photo contest.
Hayley Dunham, a Graphic Design major, won the contest on March 22. The winning photo can be found on the Redhawk Post homepage and on the La Roche International Instagram.
The 19-year-old freshman answered some questions about her hobby.
Q. When did you take the photo?
A. I took this photo on January 30, 2024.
Q. Why did you take the photo?

A. I took this photo during my Digital Photography class. We were messing around with new cameras and I was focusing on pictures of the Mother House.
Q. What do you like about photography?
A. I like how you can express yourself visually with everyday images and everyday things. I have been doing photography for years and it has always sparked my interest.

Q. Where did you learn to take photos?
A. I just learned with trial and error as well as during high school and now during college.
